The southern coast is one of the mildest regions in Canada, with very warm summers and relatively mild winters. In Alberta, winters are cold and spring and summer evening temperatures can be cool. Heavy snowfalls in the Rockies. In Toronto summers are warm and humid in late summer while winters are cold and snowy.
