Travelling in a premium class with British Airways assures a relaxing, pleasurable experience from beginning to end with dedicated check-in areas, luxurious lounges and the highest standards of comfort and service on board.

British Airways' self-service check-in options have been designed to save you valuable time, enabling you to speed through the airport and giving you more time to relax. Check-in kiosks offer a quick and easy to use self-service option and are located near the British Airways desks. They allow you to choose your seat from the interactive seating plan, check in and print your boarding pass. Then simply deposit your baggage at the Fast Bag Drop and proceed through security to the Galleries lounge or boarding gate.

Alternatively, online check-in is available anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The convenience of checking in online means you can also choose your own seat using the interactive seating plan from the comfort of your home or office. The ability to print your own boarding pass before you get to the airport is also available if travelling from most airports. Please note that online check-in opens 24 hours before departure and closes 1 hour before.

Online check-in and check-in kiosks are available at selected airports.

Virgin Atlantic

 Virgin Atlantic's premium cabins present innovative design concepts and award-winning entertainment. The Upper Class Suite offers a fully flatbed covered in soft leather and an ottoman that converts to a guest seat allowing travelling companions to spend time together during the flight. At London Gatwick, the Twilight Check-In allows passengers to check in baggage and receive boarding passes between 3.30pm and 9pm the evening before their flight. Alternatively, online check in opens twenty four hours before departure.

Virgin Atlantic serves the Caribbean with direct flights from London Gatwick to Barbados, Antigua, St Lucia, Grenada, Jamaica and Tobago, and a direct flight from Manchester to Barbados.
