To add to the hassle, there isn't a global standard for luxury hotels and many traditional rating systems assess hotels based on the extent of their facilities. The result: lacklustre hotels are deemed to be five star whilst others infinitely more worthy may not make the grade due to, for example, not having a lift. This is an ongoing process. In the past year alone, our consultants have taken over 80 trips to re-familiarise themselves with our destinations and check on our featured hotels. This investment enables them share some of the nuances that have such an impact on your overall experience: the ambience at the hotel; the size and positions of the rooms; the true nature of the facilities or the surrounding area.

One person at Carrier will manage your holiday arrangements from start to finish. Their role is to understand what you need and what you like, before taking personal responsibility for ensuring that these are met on your holiday. No need to be passed around, to repeat yourself or to wonder who to turn to for help and guidance.

We have partnered with many of them for decades and are well positioned to ensure our guests are particularly well taken care of. This is where our strong relationships come in; on occasion, they have been known to secure hotels or particular rooms that are 'fully booked'.

Carrier is one of a handful of travel companies in the UK to have achieved British Airways Preferred Partner status, in recognition of how important our customers are to the airline. Carrier and British Airways have a long established relationship giving us access to highly competitive accommodation-inclusive fares across their network and meaning that we hear the latest news and special offers first. The majority of our clients choose to upgrade to a premium cabin for additional space, comfort and service and we have the ability to pre-book your seats in Club World on selected routes.

We also partner with Virgin Atlantic, Emirates and other airlines and can charter private jets.

Space and comfort during your journey is uppermost and the reason why all Carrier holidays include private overseas airport transfers as standard. No need for multiple drop-offs en route to the hotel with us. We also consider your luggage requirements and often send additional vehicles to pick you up.

In addition, we can also arrange VIP Meet & Greet and Fast Track Immigration in select destinations in the Caribbean and Indian Ocean/ Arabia. There is no better way to arrive - especially when acclimatising to a humid airport - than being met from the flight, whisked past a full plane's worth of passengers through passport control and helped with your luggage into a swish, air-conditioned vehicle.

Carrier will give you a fair price and good value

We want you to have the best possible experience on your holiday and return to travel with us time and again. We give your travel plans real consideration; getting the detail right on your holiday is our main priority.

We sell the finest holidays in the world and understandably these do not come cheap. We understand that value for money is important and will negotiate on your behalf to ensure the price you pay is competitive for your preferred holiday.

This is rare in an industry that is driven by contracted rates and bookings made with a key stroke. We pick up the phone, talk to the places where you will be staying and arrange the best terms for you at the time of booking. This means we can say with confidence that you will always pay a fair price for your Carrier holiday, enhanced by the personal care and attention your plans will receive.

We also won't take your money before we need it. For most bookings, you will be asked for a 10% deposit, with the balance payable just ten weeks before you go.

We are ABTA bonded and all of our flight-inclusive holidays are financially protected by the Civil Aviation Authority's ATOL scheme. We also work closely with our specialist travel agents to ensure that all aspects of your booking are secure.

Our team in the UK is also contactable 24/7, 365 days a year. You will always have personal assistance, whether that is during the booking or should you need help while you are away. At all of our destinations, Carrier work closely with representation companies, who know the locality extremely well and are best placed to ensure a high standard of service throughout your holiday.
