Hidden away among the trees are the remarkable treerooms that comprise Treehotel, a visionary concept brought to life by founders Britta and Kent in collaboration with some of Scandinavia’s leading architects. Upon arrival, guests check in at the Treehotel Guesthouse before making the short stroll to their treeroom. Options range from the intimate Cabin, reached by a horizontal bridge among the trees, and the reflective calm of the panoramic Mirrorcube, to larger dwellings including the Dragonfly, UFO, Blue Cone and Bird’s Nest, complete with retractable staircase.

Families, couples and groups can immerse themselves in a host of outdoor adventures, from dogsledding tours, snowmobile safaris and eagle spotting to ziplining and cultural encounters with the region’s indigenous Sámi people. Guided nature walks, forest excursions and wildlife spotting offer a deeper connection to the wilderness of Swedish Lapland, while the Northern Lights often illuminate the night sky during winter months.
