Idyllically situated on a 260,000 acre private concession in the thriving Okavango Delta, this traditional tented camp provides the authentic African safari experience. Home of the Living with Elephants interaction, this eco-conscious luxury camp is the ultimate place to witness elephants up-close whilst being mindful of their habitat and wellbeing. With only eight tents on site, the camp offers an intimate and secluded experience, with each tent boasting its own private deck complete with breathtaking views over the Okavango floodplains. Steeped in traditional African touches, the elegant interiors are adorned with antiques and furnishings reminiscent of the 19th Century. Dining here is no ordinary affair, with the likes of breakfast with a trio of elephants and lunch in the shallow waters of the Okavango Delta gracing the menu. When guests aren’t on safari, the tranquil pool area offers an ideal environment for relaxation; witness giraffes, elephants and possibly a glimpse of rare wild dogs heading across the savannah.

The best time to visit Botswana for game viewing in the delta areas is during the dry winter season from April to October when animals are drawn to water sources. Days are warm and sunny although nights can drop below freezing – in October temperatures can be particularly hot. The Okavango area tends to be more moderate than the Kalahari where seasonal differences are more extreme and activities vary according to wet (November – March) and dry (April – October) seasons.
