"South Africa. A country filled with many diverse and interesting regions, offering an unforgettable experience for anyone who visits and one I am immensely proud to come from. The buzzing city of Cape Town is amongst my favourites; I head straight to the V&A Waterfront and soak in the views of the majestic Table Mountain, whilst savouring authentic street food at the V&A food market. Only a 20 minute drive away, you will find the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, the most beautiful garden in Africa. Proclaimed an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004, this park makes for a tranquil afternoon, uncovering delicate wildlife and life-size art sculptures. With a wine-making history dating back to the 17th Century, you cannot visit South Africa without experiencing a vineyard tour. I recommend the Waterstone winery where you can sample local wines paired with delicious home-made chocolate."
