Set on an island just 100 metres wide in the Zambezi River, this sister property of Tongabezi offers true seclusion – the five open-fronted thatched cottages having outdoor hot showers and a private deck to maximize the views over the floodplain. Honeymooners will fall for the romantic chalet sited on a secluded sandy shore at one tip of the island. While far enough away to avoid the tourist bustle of Victoria Falls, it is easy to get there, as well as to Livingstone’s lively Marumba market. Elephant sometimes cross to the island during the dry season, a particular hippo occasionally dozes behind the kitchen; guests can also expect sightings of impala, waterbuck, buffalo and exotic bird life. Drift quietly down the river on a sunset cruise or dine out on Sindabezi’s floating sampan.
Includes: all meals, drinks, house wine, sparkling wine, house spirits (excluding premium wines, Champagne), laundry, a sunrise and sunset boat trip on the Zambezi, guided canoeing excursion, lunch on a local island with a guided walk, fishing, visit to Victoria Falls (entrance fees are an extra $20), game drives to Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park (park fees are extra), a walk in the gorge below the Falls, cultural visit to the museum (excluding entrance fee of $15), a visit to a local village, mountain bike trails to a local village and a shopping trip.Make an Enquiry
