Considered one of Zimbabwe’s most luxurious lodges, this designer dwelling stands amidst spectacular scenery. Perched high on a hill overlooking a dam, there are six boldly decorated suites each with private plunge pool and one exclusive-use five bedroom private retreat. Sun-bleached woods and sandstone boulders define the main lodge and elevated dining decks provide magnificent panoramic views. Kambako Living Museum of Bushcraft within the camp, provides an insight into a very different way of life. Game drives and nature walks with expert guides bring the chance to view the wildlife at close quarters – the reserve is home to the Big 5 and a host of rare and endangered species – whilst rare historical rock art can be seen across the reserve and relaxing boat trips on the dam offer an alternative perspective.

Our pricing aims to give an indication of the price range from low to high season. Low season for Zimbabwe is generally between the months of December to May, high season runs from June to October, though many lodges offer the same rate year round. Supplements may apply to peak periods such as Christmas and Easter. Prices are per person per night based on 2 sharing. Regional departures and single supplements are available on request. Accommodation only prices do not include flights. Date restrictions, terms and conditions apply to our special offers, please call for details.
The dry winter months between May and October are generally the best months for game viewing as the grass is lower, the vegetation less dense and the animals are driven to the waterholes to quench their thirst. Temperatures are hot during the day but can drop significantly at night, even falling below zero in Hwange. Daytime temperatures in October can be exceptionally high. The rainy season is usually from December to March, with beautiful, green landscapes. Victoria Falls are at their most dramatic from March to May, though the mist created by such a volume of water can obscure the views.
