Dubrovnik’s first luxury boutique hotel stands directly across from lively Gundulic Square in the old town. Housed in an elegant 17th Century Baroque building and former aristocrat's home, guest rooms and suites with spacious bathrooms blend contemporary touches with antique furnishings, parquet floors and hand-woven rugs. Bursting with character each of the 19 rooms is named after a Croatian artist, poet or musician. La Capella, the atmospheric restaurant, serves Mediterranean cuisine alfresco to the accompanying scent of jasmine and citrus flowers, whilst the heraldic Café Royal spills out onto the piazza to form a focal point for socialites. At Wine Bar Razonoda, mix with the locals on the outdoor terrace to sample an extensive array of traditional delicacies, modern tapas selections and an extensive collection of award-winning Croatian wines. A real plus point is complimentary access to Banje Beach, just a five minute walk away and from where the views towards old Dubrovnik town are simply mesmerising. Guests can also hire a private yacht to explore the nearby islands.
