Athens / The Margi

The Vouliagmeni peninsula – the most exclusive part of the Athenian Riviera – makes a spellbinding setting for this elegant boutique hotel, run with charm and care by the two sons of owner Maria Stavridis. Close to a sandy beach, smart marina and elite shopping outlets of Glyfada the property comprises rooms and suites with warm ethnic touches, and soft white furnishings, one of the suites having a fireplace and dressing room while the dual-level Family suite can be connected with a premium room to accommodate up to six guests.

Dine at pergola-shaded Malabar with its day-to-night pool and lounge area, white day beds and resident DJ or enjoy the Mediterranean cuisine of award-winning chef Panagiotis Giakalis who utilises produce from The Margi Farm. Organic produce and sustainability are of great importance at The Margi. Fresh fruits and vegetables from The Margi Farm bring exceptional flavours to the hotel’s kitchen, where guests can experience immersive cookery classes with the chef. Farm walks can be booked by appointment, whilst the ‘From Farm to Fork’ programme gives guests the opportunity to pick their own produce for dinner. Nearby golfing and the nightlife of Athens are easily accessible.
