Review / Review of The Legian Bali

Katie McLeavy

“Here you will find a blissfully quiet oasis in the middle of Seminyak’s hustle and bustle”

Bali is more than just a place - it's a mood, an aspiration, a paradisaical state of mind. Katie McLeavy shares her recent experience from The Legian Bali.

A slice of / paradise

Seminyak is perhaps best described as the vibrant beating heart of Bali. Known for its stylish and upscale beach location, with some of the best high end boutiques, it is one of the most popular places to visit. What makes The Legian so tempting though is that, despite being just a five minute walk from the village’s cool array of bars, restaurants and shops, it feels like it’s located in the quietest, most exclusive corner of Bali. Make time to enjoy the two-tier infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean – it was my favourite place to relax whilst there. Although the resort felt like my own personal slice of secluded paradise, if a truly private and isolated escape is what you’re looking for, book into The Club – an 11 villa retreat hidden away a stone’s throw from the main resort where each villa comes complete with its own pool and the added services of a butler. Here you could be forgiven for never leaving your heavenly cocoon, but should the urge to explore kick in, both the Club Butlers and the Legian Concierge can recommend and arrange the best restaurants and cultural experiences nearby.
