An architectural masterpiece nestled amongst virtually untouched natural surroundings; Rosewood Luang Prabang is a heavenly hideaway just waiting to be discovered.
Located in Laos, on the outskirts of the ancient city of Luang Prabang, the resort is set in luscious green jungle filled with fragrant frondescence and wildflower. In keeping with Rosewood’s ‘A Sense of Place’ philosophy, and with a meandering river flowing through its core, visitors are immersed in the resort’s serene surroundings and invited to discover more about local life and culture.
Designed by Bill Bensley, a Bangkok based American designer, traditional bold colours and French colonial pieces give off an authentic air, with locally sourced dark woods and intricately carved wall panels ensuring Lao inspired opulence around every corner. Consisting of just 23 rooms, guests have the option of Riverside Rooms, Suites and Villas alongside Waterfall Pool Villas, and six premium Hilltop Tents which offer magnificent views of the surrounding area.
Nestled in the nearby trees is The Sense Spa – an inspired facility made up of three individual treatment tents, each offering traditional Laotian therapies while utilising local organic ingredients. Bordered by the forest and river, the spa allows visitors to reconnect with their surroundings and regain balance in a breath taking setting that’s like no other.
