Maldives / Four Seasons Explorer

Whether a few hours or a few days, there can be little else as exhilarating as cruising amongst the picture postcard islands of the Maldives. On Four Seasons Explorer, a triple-deck catamaran that holds just twenty two guests, choose from three, four and seven day journeys (‘Aquariums & Caves’; ‘Sharks & Shipwreck’; and the ‘See It All’ Cruise) between the garden island of Kuda Huraa and the UNESCO hideaway of Landaa Giraavaru visiting secluded dive sites and remote village communities. The spacious state rooms come with en-suite bathroom, private bar and air conditioning, whilst the palatial Explorer Suite offers panoramic views and a private sundeck. Dining is in the air-conditioned dining room, or its alfresco area; lunch and dinner menus change daily and reflect the gastronomic prowess of Four Seasons land-based Resorts. Water sports, bottom line fishing, diving, snorkelling, castaway island days, beach games, stargazing, spa therapies (on board or on a secluded beach) and amazing wildlife encounters are just some of the other activities that fill each extraordinary day on an intimate vessel that will cause you to redefine your idea of a ‘live-aboard’.

When is the best time to visit Maldives?

The Maldives has a hot, tropical climate with sunshine all year round. The most popular months to visit are between November and April during the north-east monsoon when it is dry with very little wind. Whilst there may be rain during some of the summer months, with ever-changing weather patterns and excellent offers, this is becoming an increasingly popular time to travel.
