The picture-book paradise of Milaidhoo lies in the Baa Atoll UNESCO biosphere reserve, which supports one of the largest groups of coral reefs in the Indian Ocean. Commanding a breathtaking setting close to Hanifaru Bay, on an island just 300 by 180 metres, the resort is custom crafted for barefoot comfort, welcoming couples, honeymooners and guests aged nine and above. Maldivian design pervades spacious accommodation, the Water Pool Villas standing on stilts over the ocean, while Beach Pool Villas stand directly on the powder-soft sand. All have a large private freshwater infinity pool on the sun deck, outside daybed, hanging swing and air conditioned bathroom with soaking tub and separate rain shower. There’s a touch of the exotic to the dining choices too; the above water Ba’Theli Lounge and Restaurant serving island-inspired cuisine in a setting shaped like a traditional dhoni sailing boat, while the chefs at the utterly informal Shoreline Grill will cook according to your requests. Snorkel or dive around the island’s spectacular reef, learn to hand-line fish with the local fishermen or experience a thrilling catch-and-release big game fishing trip.

The Maldives has a hot, tropical climate with sunshine all year round. The most popular months to visit are between November and April during the north-east monsoon when it is dry with very little wind. Whilst there may be rain during some of the summer months, with ever-changing weather patterns and excellent offers, this is becoming an increasingly popular time to travel.
Our team travel extensively, getting under the skin of every destination and hotel that we feature while building key connections and relationships along the way. In-depth knowledge of a destination is only part of what is required to curate a couture holiday experience; we also get to know you and what matters to you, meaning you receive genuine recommendations and a truly individual travel experience, and our Carrier Masterclasses ensure our travel experts are the best in the industry at tailoring bespoke and unique holidays.
