Located across Khao Sok National Park, the resort comprises two of Thailand’s first ever Tented Jungle Camps, each showcasing the best aspects of the country’s natural landscape.
Set within the luscious landscapes of Khao Sok National Park, home of the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world, the camps of Elephant Hills are truly something to behold. Alongside vast jungles, voluminous limestone formations and rare species of frondescence and wild animals, guests can spend time with Asian elephants at the sanctuary – watching them bathe, feed and play.
The two camps, Elephant Camp and Rainforest Camp, each feature the latest in luxury safari accommodation, combining traditional camping experiences with hotel-like amenities. Elephant Camp can be found next to the Sok River on the national park’s rainforest border. With a total of 66 simple tents, each is home to locally crafted furniture – hand-made using natural materials by the camp’s own craftsman – as well as en-suite bathrooms and fixed beds.
Rainforest Camp is a unique floating camp located in the centre of Khao Sok’s Cheow Larn Lake, surrounded by vibrant rainforest and limestone mountains. One of the only floating camps in the world, it is built to have minimal impact on the environment, with its ecological ethos extending to its 20 tents whose power is solely provided by solar and wind energy.
Prices include 1 nights accommodation. All Elephant Hills tour packages are inclusive of accommodation, full board, activities as per chosen itinerary, a fully trained, TAT-licensed English speaking Thai tour guide as well as joint transfers to and from Elephant Hills.

Low season for Thailand is generally between the months of April to October, high season runs from November to March. The exception is Koh Samui, where the low season runs from September to November and high season lasts from December to August. Prices are based on 2 sharing (unless otherwise indicated) with some including return economy flights from London. Regional departures, child prices and single supplements are available on request. Luxury tents come as standard at Elephant Hills. Built to house up to 3 adults, or a family of 4, double or twin beds are available with a roll-away bed included.
Giving back to the local community is one of the top priorities at Elephant Hills. Working to help the children in surrounding areas, the camp donates revenue from its nature tours towards school renovation projects and providing much needed educational equipment. Visitors are encouraged to Pack with a Purpose, and bring items that can support the camp’s Children’s Project – such as books, toys, stationary and games.
