Explore Bangkok

The best way to explore Bangkok is meandering through the bustling city arteries on one of The Peninsula's iconic green tuk tuks, or a cruise along Chao Phraya River in a beautifully restored rice barge, passing the grand palaces and temples that line the banks.

The Peninsula Academy

Get under the skin of Thai culture, lifestyle, cuisine, art and history at The Peninsula Academy, which offers a range of exclusively designed, eclectic experiences including Senses of Thainess to Muay Thai Kickboxing.

20 Amazing Experiences

To celebrate 20 years of riverside magic in Bangkok, a specially curated edit of The Peninsula's 20 Amazing Experiences will take you off the beaten track to experience the hidden treasures of this diverse city. Including little-known flower markets, sacred Chinese shrines and ancient ruins rarely visited by tourists, speak to our team for the full list of options.

When to visit Thailand

Thailand is generally very hot and humid with distinct dry and rainy seasons. The best time to visit most resorts, including Phuket, Khao Sok, Krabi, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, is from November to March, with the exception of Koh Samui which is best visited from December to August. However, with ever-changing weather patterns and excellent offers, it is well worth considering a holiday during the shoulder seasons.
