"The hotel radiates colonial charm with its chic furnishings, lavish artwork and beautifully landscaped gardens."
I ended my Vietnam trip with a short stay at the Park Hyatt Saigon in Hoi Chi Minh City. The hotel radiates colonial charm with its chic furnishings, lavish artwork and beautifully landscaped gardens. There is a lovely, peaceful ambience throughout the property – set in the bustling city of Saigon, it is a quiet oasis to relax in after a busy day exploring.
I stayed in the Park Suite which provided brilliant views of Saigon and has a walk-in rain shower. The hotel also overlooks the Opera House and Lam Son Square – both worthwhile attractions in the area.
A pizza from Opera is a must! The restaurant offers direct views of the Opera House and serves delicious Italian cuisine prepared in a large open kitchen.
I loved the fact that the hotel was in a prime location to experience the hustle and bustle of the city, yet exuded laid back vibes. The Xuan Spa is incredibly serene – my favourite aspect was that it focussed on the Mekong Delta principles, providing a range of fresh herbs and local fruits with treatments.
