When to visit Dubai

Dubai experiences high temperatures throughout the year with minimal rainfall. The best time to visit is between October and March when it is cooler. During the summer months temperatures rise considerably, whilst hotel rates are at their lowest and offers are most attractive.

November - March

With tropical temperatures all year round, Dubai is one of the most sought after locations for sun seekers, but its location within the Northern desert belt means that heat and humidity levels are extremely high during the summer months. November to March is often considered the best time to visit Dubai, with temperatures cool enough to soak up the sights and explore, but still warm enough to return home with a healthy glow.

April – October

Dubai’s hot climate means that visitor numbers drop significantly during in the summer months. With temperatures often rising above 35 degrees, and humidity within the 90th percentile, guests are advised to avoid long stretches outside while the sun is at its highest point – making it the perfect opportunity to try out some of the city’s iconic shopping malls. Those looking for a quieter holiday with a lower price point need look no further than this period.

Festive period

Even in December, Dubai is hotter than most. Despite technically being winter, sun is guaranteed almost every day and temperatures can reach as high as the mid-twenties. Christmas in Dubai is one-of-a-kind, with events such as the Mall of Emirates’ Ski Dubai - a 22,500m² indoor ski resort with its own Bobsled run - ensuring festive fun throughout your trip.
