Nestled in the magnificent Graubunden alps, Davos is one of Europe’s highest towns and snowsports centres where extensive slopes are matched by wide ranging winter activities and traditions. Surrounded by glittering country trails through silent larch forests, Davos is packed full of amenities including Europe’s largest natural ice rink, a winter sports museum, shops, restaurants, cinema and a casino. Après-ski starts at the Bolgen Plaza at the foot of the Jakobshorn slopes and continues into the early hours. The winter sporting calendar includes spectator events such as ice hockey and the Annual Parsenn Derby downhill ski race. Other pursuits include winter walking around the lake and through romantic side valleys, snow shoeing, crosscountry skiing, ice climbing, paragliding and indoor golf. The Parsenn ski area links over to Klosters, famed for its jet set clientele - the long piste down to Klosters being a favourite and exhilarating run. Speed enthusiasts can now time themselves on both piste no. 5 and, courtesy of BMW xDrive Cup Ski Movie, a new racing slope. A state-of-the-art gondola provides easy access from Davos Platz to Jschalp for the Jakobshorn area, known for its lively restaurants and fun park. The Bolgen Family Land at the foot of the Jakobshorn offers easy nursery slopes.

Our team travel extensively, getting under the skin of every destination and hotel that we feature while building key connections and relationships along the way. In-depth knowledge of a destination is only part of what is required to curate a couture holiday experience; we also get to know you and what matters to you, meaning you receive genuine recommendations and a truly individual travel experience, and our Carrier Masterclasses ensure our travel experts are the best in the industry at tailoring bespoke and unique holidays.
Carrier has been tailoring holidays worldwide for over 35 years and has firmly established its reputation as one of the leaders in the luxury holiday market. We have been voted ‘Favourite Tour Operator’ by the readers of Condé Nast Traveller magazine more times than any other company in the past decade, and have been featured in The Sunday Times Travel Magazine’s Top 10 Tour Operators for 2016. Carrier has also won several national travel industry accolades, including ‘Luxury Tour Operator of the Year’ from TTG Luxury and Advantage Travel Centres.
