Exuding a relaxed and cosy atmosphere, the intimate charm of The Capra blends classic Swiss style with contemporary luxuries in the snow-sure Saas-Fee resort.
Taking its name from the local indigenous mountain goats, The Capra strives to emulate the yin-yang philosophy of harmony between man and nature that these two-tone animals have come to embody in the region. To that end, interiors are designed with rustic warmth and authenticity in mind with comfortable yet contemporary living spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows from which to enjoy panoramic views of the Swiss Alps.
Health-conscious guests will love the farm-to-table dining at the Brasserie. A number of 'Peak Health' dishes on the menu have been designed to be healthy and nutritionally balanced, in line with the philosophy of the on site Spa. Private dining can be arranged in the wine cellar, housing award-winning regional and international wines for the tasting, and an understated après in the fire-lit snug is all too inviting after an exhilarating day on the slopes.
Family-friendly adjoining rooms are available as well as 10 rooms and suites in The Capra chalet, connected to the hotel by an underground pathway.
Boot, helmet and glove warmers are amongst the thoughtful touches at the hotel’s heated ski cabin, set close to the foot of the slopes and a short ride from The Capra, courtesy of the hotels own electro car.
