A true West Coast adventure awaits; only accessible by floatplane, this unique rustic floating lodge nestled amidst the wild, rugged peaks of Canada’s coastline is considered one of the premier grizzly bear viewing resorts in the world. Interpretive guides observe these majestic creatures from special viewing platforms; photographic opportunities are plentiful during peak season when it is not uncommon for there to be up to forty bears within ten kilometres of the lodge. Whale watching joins bear watching as a prime attraction, while sea kayaking tours bring opportunities to drift quietly past the wildlife. Sail past crashing waterfalls and ancient glaciers on an inlet cruise or hike into the pristine rainforest. Having worked up an appetite, feast on hearty West Coast and continental cuisine, with the focus firmly on seafood harvested from the local waters.
