Touch down in Botswana’s delta for a game drive through the watery plains and sail along the Chobe River in a house boat. Fly over Victoria Falls en route to Zambia’s South Luangwa for a thrilling bush walk, explore the wilds of Selous and Ruaha, two of Tanzania’s largest parks, and relax on the shores of Lake Malawi, where a plethora of watersports awaits. Day /1

Fly into the Okavango Delta

A scenic flight from Livingstone or Victoria Falls along the Chobe River and into Okavango Delta for a 2 night stay at Duba Plains Camp or Selinda Camp. (FB)

Explore the Okavango

Explore the Okavango

A day of game viewing in the Delta – experience Botswana’s watery wonderland, one of the world’s premier wildlife locations. Land based game drives are conducted by day and night, bush walks can be arranged and boat based activities through the Delta’s shallow waters are offered if water levels permit. (FB)

Cruise along the Chobe River

Cruise along the Chobe River

Sail along the Chobe River on board a Chobe Princess House Boat. View herds of elephants, buffalo hippos and crocodiles on the banks of the river as you float calmly along. Tender boats depart for game viewing in Chobe National Park. The Chobe Princess house boats are furnished in contemporary style, with en suite bedrooms, a lounge, bar and plunge pool for refreshing dips. (FB)

Fly into Zambia

Fly into Zambia

An awe-inspiring scenic ‘flight of angels’ over the ever-impressive Victoria Falls, then along the Zambezi River and into Zambia’s South Luangwa Park for a 2 night stay at Tafika Camp. Located just outside the Nsefu sector of the park, the area around the camp is renowned for leopard sightings, adding an extra thrill to the day and night game drives. Lakeside relaxation in Malawi

Lakeside relaxation in Malawi

Fly on to Malawi and beautiful Likoma Island on Lake Malawi, for a relaxing 2 nights at Kaya Mawa. Enjoy some beach time on the shores of the lake or participate in the myriad watersports available for guests, from snorkelling in the crystal clear waters to kayaking, sailing or mountain biking. Safari in Tanzania

Safari in Tanzania

A scenic flight along the shores of the lake takes you north and into Tanzania for a 2 night stay at Kigelia Ruaha Camp in the remote and unspoiled wilderness of Ruaha National Park. The vast park boasts a wide range of geographical features from natural springs, wetlands and kopjes to the Great Rift Valley, as well as a diverse collection of wildlife including wild dogs and a large concentration of elephants. Explore the Selous

Explore the Selous

Fly over the Great Rufiji River and into the Selous Game Reserve for 3 nights at Sand Rivers Selous. Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles serve as an introduction to the wildlife in Africa’s largest reserve, or enjoy game viewing by boat as you sail along the Rufiji River, observing the animals as they approach for an evening drink. Fly to Dar es Salaam

Fly to Dar es Salaam where the safari ends. Extend your stay in Tanzania and visit the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater or perhaps fly onto Zanzibar or Pemba for a relaxing beach stay – our consultants will be happy to create a bespoke itinerary. It is also possible to include a stay at Victoria Falls at the start of the itinerary or to continue to Nairobi and visit the Mara at the end.
