Arrive at Entebbe

Fly to Entebbe International Airport. You will be met on arrival, fast tracked through immigration and a personal safari guide will transfer you to Lake Victoria Serena Resort for an overnight stay. (BB)

Day /2 - 3

Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, take a connecting flight to Murchison Falls National Park for a 2 night stay at Bakers Lodge. Game drives here take you across open African savanna in search of lions, leopard, hyena, buffalo, elephant, hartebeest and a range of birdlife. Carrier recommended: a boat ride up the Nile to Murchison Falls. (FB)

Kibale National Park

Kibale National Park

Take a charter to Kibale National Park, passing through tea plantations, before arriving at Kyaninga Lodge for a 2 night stay. Experiences here include chimpanzee tracking in the forest which has one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa, a walk through the Bigodi Swamp and a visit to a primary school to meet with the locals. Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Next journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, for a 2 night stay at Ishasha Wilderness Lodge. Fig tree-dotted plains at the park provide the ideal canopy cover for the fascinating tree-climbing lions hunting unsuspecting Uganda Kob. The diverse surrounding landscape waiting to be explored also includes open savanna, rainforest, swamps and Lake Edward. (FB)

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to Bwindi National Park and end your trip with a 2 night stay at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp. The park is home to endangered mountain gorillas, chimpanzees and endemic bird species. Gorilla trekking will take between two and six hours with an experienced ranger; there's also the chance to meet with the Batwa community and learn about their life in the forest. (FB)

Return to the UK

Take a charter flight back to Entebbe Airport for your return flight to London Heathrow.
