This is a journey that will take you to isolated islands and remote regions across Iceland and the Norwegian Archipelago of Svalbard.
Begin with a 2 night stay at Hotel Borg overlooking a beautiful square in the heart of Reykjavik, and with easy access to the cathedral, parliament house, national gallery, museum and a host of cafés and boutiques. From here, Carrier will arrange a Golden Circle tour to some of Iceland’s most famous natural marvels via super jeep and snow mobile.
Once aboard Silver Cloud, highlights include one of Europe’s largest bird cliffs, home to tens of thousands of sea birds including Atlantic Puffin, Razorbills and Northern Gannets; the country’s most impressive and majestic waterfall; and special permission granted to access the black lava beaches of volcanic island Jan Mayen – a rarely visited outpost and a known feeding ground for whales. Next, you’ll make your way to Svalbard in search of polar bears, walrus and seals amongst the fascinating landscapes, mountains, fjords and glaciers. Weather permitting, the zodiac boats and guided shore walks with the dedicated Expedition Team will allow for an even closer look.
Itineraries are subject to change. Prices are per person, based on double occupancy on an all-inclusive basis aboard Silver Cloud for 14 nights in a Veranda Suite, and includes 2 nights in a Standard Room at Hotel Borg in Reykjavik on a bed and breakfast basis, private Golden Circle tour by super jeep with snowmobiling, return flights from London and private transfers. Single supplements are available on request.
Save up to 10% when you book and pay in full by 31 October 2018.
