Your journey will begin on the utterly captivating Bay of Islands, where you will explore some of the 140 islets in this subtropical enclave, before heading to a private tour of The Shire and arriving in the breathtaking town of Roturua, renowned for its geothermal activity. Next, enjoy a spell at Palliser Bay, staying on a 5,000 acre working sheep station, and fly to Kaikoura, where dolphin, fur seal and sperm whale-watching awaits. Finally, finish your trip in Glenorchy, Queenstown, where you can spend time flying over the Alps on a private helicopter tour, and on a jet boat excursion atop Lake Wakatipu before heading home.

Day /1

Fly to Kerikeri

Fly from London Heathrow to Auckland and onto Kerikeri.

Day /2 - 3

Bay of Islands

Bay of Islands

Following your arrival in Kerikeri, you will be met by your private driver and transferred to your accommodation, The Lodge at Kauri Cliifs, before spending the next two days exploring Bay of Islands – a myriad of sub-tropical islets in the glistening Pacific Ocean. Here, you will embark on a private sailing excursion around the area, and enjoy your own leisure time where experience options include learning about nearby sacred Maorian grounds, diving around the world-famous Poor Knights Island, or cruising to Cape Brett's 'Hole in the Rock'. Day /4 - 5



A short flight from Kerikeri Airport lies Rotorua, the heartland of New Zealand’s Maori culture and a hub of hot pools, geysers and steaming lakes. After your arrival here, you will enjoy a privately guided tour of The Shire at Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings Hobbiton Movie Set, before being transferred to Solitaire Lodge for a 2 night stay. Once checked in you will be able to explore Rotorua at your own leisure, where unique excursions include a helicopter ride over the active White Island volcano in the Bay of Plenty, white water rafting in Kaituna Falls or biking and ziplining through the Redwoods at the celebrated Whakarewarewa Forest. Palliser Bay

Palliser Bay

Arrive at Wellington Airport before being transferred to Wharekauhau Country Estate at Palliser Bay for an exhilarating 2 night stay. Comprising 5,000 acres of forests, lakes, mountains and bush, this working sheep station sits alongside 16 miles of rugged coastline. Whilst here, you will spend a morning aboard a 4WD Farm Safari, learning the inner workings of this remote ranch, before enjoying your own leisure time where optional activities include visiting the lighthouse at Cape Palliser, heading out to the boutique vineyards at Martinborough, or simply riding horses around the grounds. Day /8 - 9



After your flight to Blenheim Airport, enjoy a scenic coastal drive to Kaikoura, where your accommodation at Hapuku Lodge awaits. A seaside settlement on the east coast of New Zealand’s South Island, this picturesque village is home to dramatic mountain vistas and wildlife-filled waters. Whilst here, you will spend a day with dolphins, fur seals and sperm whales aboard a whale-watch boat, before enjoying time at leisure. Optional excursions include fishing on the ocean before having a private chef cook up your catch, seeing the seals pups on the Ohau Stream Walk, or visiting Fyffe House - an old whaling station built using whale bones. Day /10 - 12



Fly from Christchurch to Queenstown where you will be met by your private driver and transferred to your accommodation at Blanket Bay in Glenorchy, overlooking Lake Wakatipu. Surrounded by the Southern Alps, which provide a majestic backdrop to this lodge, here you will spend time on a private helicopter tour over the rainforests and frozen lakes of the Alps towards the heart of the Fiordland, complete with a glacier landing, before being returned to Blanket Bay and whisked away on a wilderness tour and jet boat excursion up the Dart River.
