It’s as though Mother Nature couldn’t decide which environs she loved most. Wildlife, winelands and desert – yes – the image conjured with those three words is surely one of Africa.

The extra days of relaxation afforded by the long Easter weekend provide an opportunity to make the most of your time off, travel further afield and experience some close-of-winter sun while waiting for spring’s stubbornness to subside.

May half term breaks are an easy way to sneak in some early summer sun and warmth as a family; little ones will relish the excitement of exploring somewhere new during their time off school, while grown-ups relish a week of rest before the fast pace of summer starts.
