The finest of a Green Safari
in Zambia and Malawi

In a corner of the world that is no stranger to the splendour of a safari, embark on a journey where being kind to the land is the ultimate luxury.

Exclusive silent safaris, eco-conscious designs, a Conservation Foundation and even a world first – an eDhow – Green Safaris a blazing a trail when it comes to the sustainability scene. Crafting unforgettable journeys from the diverse and unique bush and beach locations that make up their ‘dream safari circuit’.

Victoria Falls is the first stop where customised activities range from tours of Livingstone Island to soaring over the falls in a helicopter. Zambia’s wildlife then takes centre stage in Kafue, Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa National Parks – all experienced from vehicles and vessels fuelled by solar power. The final stop is on Malawian territory in Mozambican waters, where Likoma Island brings a taste of the beach to inland Lake Malawi.

Get to know where you'll be exploring in Zambia and Milawi, from the spectacle of Victoria Falls to the laid-back sands of Likoma Island.

  • a river with a large body of water that turns into a waterfall
    Victoria Falls

Locally known as the ‘smoke that thunders’, her presence needs no introduction; but what makes this seventh wonder of the world so great, is the different ways you can approach it.

    Stay at: Tongabezi Lodge
  • a group of animals in a field with trees in the background
    Kafue National Park

A hidden gem that surprisingly earns the title of the biggest national park in Zambia, all it takes is one visit to quickly turn the tides.

    Stay at: Chisa Busanga Camp
  • a body of water with trees and a sunset
    Lower Zambezi

Home to the beating heart of the Zambezi River that makes these banks so hip and happening, there’s no better way to view it all than from the boats and canoes themselves.

    South Luangwa National Park

An intrepid soul whose pioneering feet (literally) paved the way – the first walking safaris started here – and she’s keeping it classic for a reason.

    Stay at: Shawa Luangwa Camp
  • Aerial view of a pristine beach on Likoma Island with turquoise waters and lush greenery on the shoreline.

Extraordinary
experiences

    • Couple and a guide enjoying a sunset boat ride on the Zambezi River with an umbrella for shade.
Sip sundowners aboard the world’s first electric dhow

On the banks of the Zambezi River, set off from the jetty at Tongabezi Lodge to cruise the waters in peace thanks to the vessel’s innovative technology that doesn’t even emit the emissions, let alone the sounds, of a traditional fuel-engine boat.

    • Guests in a safari vehicle observing a resting lioness in the African savannah.
Head out on a silent safari in Kafue National Park

Home to a pioneering fleet of electric jeeps, safaris at Chisa Busanga Camp are unique in that they are completely soundless; making for not only a more serene drive but better wildlife viewing thanks to no engine noise disturbing the fauna.

    • Unique dining experience with two people seated at a table in the shallow water of the Zambezi, served by a waiter, with mountains in the background.
Dine on delectable dishes in the wild

From starting the day with breakfast in the bush to taking a picnic break between safaris, dining in the wilderness is a safari staple. An extra special moment comes in the Zambezi, when a signature hand-picked lunch is enjoyed with feet in the cooling river water.

    • Two people standing near a large baobab tree with the sun shining through its branches in the Zambian landscape.
Revel in a safari experience all to yourself

A dream for all safari-goers, wildlife viewing at Sausage Tree Camp comes with the expertise of a private guide solely dedicated to an individual group. Whether exploring in a jeep, a canoe, or by foot, these exclusive and knowledgeable guides make for a far more intimate experience.
