  • People skiing and on a ski lift in the french ski resort of Val d'Isere

Serving the ultimate recipe for on-and-off piste adventures, for many snow-sure dreamers nothing quite beats the thrill of triumphantly tackling the skiing supernova of The Three Valleys; the largest linked area in Europe.

Serving the ultimate recipe for on-and-off piste adventures, for many snow-sure dreamers nothing quite beats the thrill of triumphantly tackling the skiing supernova of The Three Valleys; the largest linked area in Europe.

Courchevel is dressed to the nines with gourmet eateries and glamorous shops, accessorised by high-tech lift systems that satisfy the fussiest celebs. Méribel’s sunny slopes turn the snow to tinsel and boast the best access valley-wide. And Val Thorens tempts intermediate challenge-seekers with its high altitude peaks, The quieter slopes are found at St Martin de Belleville, made for teaching new tricks to rosy-cheeked little ones.

Over near the Italian border, world-famous Val d’Isère kicks things up a notch with black runs and heliskiing adventures for seasoned aficionadas, while newbies to the scene get inspired to go-for-gold themselves on high altitude beginner slopes. Meanwhile, the short-break stars in the form of traffic-free Megève and alpine-village La Clusaz. Fun for all the family with their all-ability runs and seriously cool winter activities.
