Venture to the verdant northwest of the island and you’ll find Les Roches Villa, Le Toiny Villa Collection, St Barths – one of the island’s most relaxing escapes nestled on a serene hill overlooking Flamands Bay and Bonhomme Island.
A vision of whitewashed walls and vaulted ceilings, Caribbean-contemporary weaves its way throughout the five bedrooms and copious lounge areas here. It spills out onto the terrace too, where a heated infinity pool with sweeping views of Chevreau Island, and a pretty pergola that tempts a cocktail or two, reside. These make outside an irresistible place to be, but beneath the villa’s roof there’s a fitness room to burn off excess energy and a second living space that doubles as a movie room to be found.
Days are as slow or past-paced as you like and completely tailored to personal tastes, from venturing out to discover the secluded sands on Colombier beach on a gentle hike to simply testing which plush sofa in the villa is the comfiest. Whatever the preference, an assured constant is that every meal is an opportunity to indulge; both in delectable cuisine crafted by a private chef and in the company of loved ones in the expansive dining room.
