Reached by helicopter from Vilanculos it features a mix of casinhas and cabanas overlooking the beach, each with a private rim-flow pool on the deck, wide doors and window, a four-poster bed and day bed. For families, the Casa Familia has three spacious en-suite bedrooms and pool. Freshly-caught seafood is the speciality at the Dhow Bar, a dining and cocktail venue set right on the beach, whilst romantic picnics can be enjoyed during daytime activities which include horse riding, forest tours and dune climbing. You can also try your hand at catch and release fishing or dive the unspoiled coral reefs.
The drier months from June to October are generally the best months to visit for tropical weather, clear skies and temperatures around 30°C. The hot, humid rainy season runs from December to March.
