Professors Without Borders together with Karamat Husain Muslim Girls P.G. College organised the programme EmpowHER: Building Resilence and Equality. This programme focused on promoting female empowerment through the development of essential tools for mental resilience and financial literacy. It also delved into the exploration of gender equality on both individual and collective levels, highlighting the potential for civil society to drive gender equality.

Professors Without Borders and Africa Healing Foundation partnered to bring much-needed resilience and mental well-being workshops to various groups in rural and urban Kenya. The first three days were spent in rural Kandara, where, we worked with unemployed youths aged 16-25; children in a residential care home; and adults in the local community. Day 4 was an introductory workshop with faculty that launched our new partnership with the University of Nairobi. All participants reported acquiring key tools for managing stress and expressed their desire for more workshops to explore the topic further.

Professors Without Borders and Ekiti State University collaborated on a programme to develop entrepreneurship, sustainable development and green growth, and financial literacy skills for the students. The students also took a course, Finance for Africa, where they created a budget for Nigeria aimed at boosting economic growth in the country. While the students were taking these incredible courses, the faculty attended Being an Inspiring Leader, where attendees learned about contemporary research in motivation, goal-setting theory, and leadership, and its practical application.

Professors Without Borders organised a programme for African Rural University (ARU) to enhance the skills of current undergraduate students, alumni, and faculty in producing actionable knowledge that communities can use to solve their own challenges. They also emerged as trainers to educate villagers in how to improve their nutrition and overall health. At URDT Girls' School, primary and secondary level teachers learned how to effectively integrate technology in the classroom and streamline their own workflow.

Professors Without Borders and Likusasa Letfu collaborated on a programme to nurture young entrepreneurs. The programme targeted individuals aged 18-30 and focused on providing essential soft skills, communication, critical thinking, entrepreneurial thinking, financial literacy, and futures thinking. Facilitated by experienced professionals, the programme empowered participants, reduced vulnerability, and promoted equity in their communities.
