St Lucia / Jade Mountain

Embracing the aspirational philosophy of architect and owner Nick Troubetzkoy, this is an astonishing collection of ultra-luxurious sanctuaries crafted from stone, concrete, steel and wood.

Beyond impossibly tall doors and reached via a network of bridges and walkways lie the remarkable Infinity Pool Sanctuaries, each one unique in its size, design and handcrafted furnishings. Sweeping spaces flow seamlessly into one another, a shimmering infinity pool beckons and an open space where a fourth wall would normally be allows spectacular views across to the Pitons – views that may also be enjoyed from the open-plan bathroom with its rain shower and elevated whirlpool bath.

By night the sanctuaries take on an ethereal look with subtle, coloured lighting used to great effect. Meals are served in your Sanctuary or at the Jade Mountain Club, a relaxing lounge with an ornamental pool and rooftop Celestial Terrace - the restaurants of Anse Chastanet are just down the hill. Join in a complimentary yoga class, work out in the fitness centre or indulge in a treatment at the small spa.

Jade Mountain Estate Chocolate Festival

Guests have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of chocolate experiences at this annual event. Take a tour of the Emerald Estate plantation and organic farm; sample the delicious St Lucian chocolate tea; join an ‘Alchemy of Chocolate’ class and luxuriate in a revitalising spa treatment built around the antioxidant properties of the organic cocoa beans.

When to visit St Lucia

With its tropical climate and temperatures averaging 24°C, St Lucia is a year-round destination, though the best months to visit are generally from mid-December to May, when the island is drier and less humid. During June to November, the humidity level increases and intense tropical showers or occasional storms may be experienced – excellent offers are usually available during these months. A popular choice for luxury family holidays, St Lucia is usually busy around the school holiday periods; we recommend booking a year in advance, especially for the festive season.
