Malaysia / Four Seasons Resort Langkawi

Flanked by towering limestone cliffs on one of the finest mile-long white sand beaches in the Langkawi UNESCO Geopark lies a resort both infinitely stylish and instantly captivating.

The ambience is that of a typical Malay village, with Pavilions, Villas and Family Beach Villas woven through acres of beautifully landscaped gardens – the luxurious Beach Villas featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a private garden with pool and reflecting pond, whilst generously sized Melaleuca Pavilions feature contemporary Malay designs. Delightful specialities at Ikan-Ikan Restaurant highlight the exotic flavours of authentic local cuisine, where diners can feast alfresco or indoors.

For spectacular evening views retire to the beachside Rhu Bar. Recreational options include a 55-metre adult quiet pool and family pool, tennis, watersports (including Malaysia's first X-Jetblades), rock-climbing and archery. The Geopark Discovery Centre is the starting point for intriguing eco-adventures into the mangroves and rainforest, whilst The Geo Spa offers sublime therapies that draw on the ancient energies of the surrounding area.

The Geopark Discovery Centre at this resort showcases the 550 million-year-old wonders of Southeast Asia's first UNESCO Geopark that lie beyond Langkawi's beaches. Guests can also challenge themselves on the resort's natural rock-climbing site and professional archery range, both located under the tropical canopy.

Mangrove & Eagles Safari

The Kilim Karst Geoforest Park is home to one of the most diverse tropical ecosystems on the planet, and with Four Seasons Resort Langkawi, you can venture by boat into the nature preserve with a Four Seasons naturalist for up-close encounters with eagles, monkeys, otters and walking fish.
