Delhi
Fly to Delhi and transfer to The Imperial, New Delhi for a two-night stay.
The ImperialFor two nights only, a clamorous spread of Delhi vibrancy is laid out just begging to be insatiably relished. Old Delhi introduces its ancient monuments, mazes of bazaars and the arcaded roof of the Red Fort, then New Delhi offers up palaces, tombs and the 12th century minar that serves as a template for all others in India. Then, onto the highest mountain range on the planet – the Himalayas. Board the famous UNESCO Toy Train from Kalka to Shimla, exploring a Hindu temple and a stately residence-turned-academic-institution enroute; before moving onto Chandigarh where concrete urban architecture and recycled art installations merge with the ecological wealth of Sukhna Lake.

Fly to Delhi and transfer to The Imperial, New Delhi for a two-night stay.
The ImperialToday, discover the city on a guided tour. In Old Delhi, the Indian spirit and zealous vibe you’ve imagined comes to life on a rickshaw ride through the buzzing bazaars of chaotic Chandni Chowk, before visiting famous historical sites including the 17th century Jama Masjid, the Mughal empire’s Red Fort and Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. In New Delhi, explore one-time imperial residences and war memorials including The Presidential Palace and India Gate.
The ImperialFly to Chandigarh, before a long transfer up to Wildflower Hall, An Oberoi Resort for a three-night stay. Enveloped within pine and cedar-flanked forests, the remote hotel boasts endless views of the sweeping Himalayan valleys from almost all angles, making every minute of the five hour drive worth it. Here, journey through the lush misty mountains aboard the historic UNESCO World Heritage Kalka-Shimla Toy Train as it zigzags through the lofty pines. Shimla’s must-see landmarks include a Hindu temple and Viceregal Lodge – the immaculate former home of the British Viceroy of India that now houses the Institute for Advanced Studies and its scholars.
Journey back to Chandigarh for a two-night stay at The Oberoi Sukhvilas Resort & Spa. Against a backdrop of the Siswan Forest Range, the resort presents a peaceful place for some R&R.
